How we handle your personal data and cookies on maurimbo.com. Short, plain and to the point.

maurimbo.com presents the Lito toothbrush, an invention by Mauricio Villar Moya. Maurimbo is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@maurimbo.com.

We keep data collection to a minimum. The site has no user accounts, no web shop and no analytics or advertising tracking.

• Information you send us. When you email us, for example with an investor inquiry, we receive your name, email address and anything else you choose to include.
• Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.

• To answer your questions and handle investor inquiries. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you, or taking steps before a possible agreement.
• To run, secure and improve the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working and safe website.

We never sell your personal data.

We only use a few trusted service providers, and only to the extent needed to run the site:

• Hosting: Hostinger stores the website and its server logs.
• Fonts: the site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser then connects to Google's servers, which means your IP address is sent to Google.
• Email: our email provider handles the messages you send us.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. When that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your matter and any follow-up, and are then deleted. If correspondence becomes part of an agreement, we keep it for as long as the law requires. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider and then deleted automatically.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use as few as possible.

• Necessary cookies make the site work and remember your cookie choice, so the banner does not ask you again on every page. These do not require consent.
• Statistics and marketing cookies are not used today. If we add them in the future, they will only be set after you have accepted them in the cookie banner.

Administrators who log in to the site also receive WordPress login cookies. Ordinary visitors do not.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on this site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work as intended.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email info@maurimbo.com and we will get back to you.

If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.

If we change how we handle personal data or cookies, we update this page and the date at the top.
